The Ventura County Transportation Commission is preparing a Bicycle Master Plan that gives a comprehensive overview of the state of bicycling in Ventura County and provides direction for future investments in bicycle facilities and programs. The Master Plan will include recommendations to connect gaps in the existing bikeway network, enhance safety with proper bikeway and roadway design standards, promote increased bicycling through education and encouragement efforts, and prioritize these facility and programmatic improvements in a strategic implementation plan for the unincorporated County.
Thank you for your input! The Ventura County Bicycling Survey is closed. Look for the results in the Ventura County Bike Master Plan Update to be released in early 2007
