Project Kick-Off Open House:

A public workshop was held on June 28th, 2007 to explain the Pedestrian Master Plan planning process and gather information about needs, concerns, and recommendations for pedestrian facilities throughout Carlsbad.

Second Public Workshop:

The City held the Second Public Workshop at the Carlsbad Faraday Center on May 19th, 2008 to present and receive public input on the Public Review Draft Pedestrian Master Plan.

On-Going Outreach Efforts:

During the planning process Alta staff attended community and PTA meetings and visited parks, transit centers and beach access locations to survey Carlsbad residents about their walking experiences and to collect ideas for improving the walking environment.
